The following class options are designed to provide high-quality training and extracurricular fun for artists of all interests and skill levels. The studio staff is comprised of industry professionals who have a passion for teaching and are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive space for students.

advanced Acting - High School

An intensive workshop that culminates in a performance on the final class. Students will learn to apply advanced acting exercises such as sense memory, improvisation and text analysis to exciting scripted material. Through the study of challenging scenes/monologues and exploration of complex characters, participants will learn to achieve rich, natural, and emotionally-connected acting on stage and screen.

The class will also delve into audition technique and include discussions of the Industry— even more, the class will support professional/adult actors in reconnecting with their training and the joy of being part of a creative ensemble! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR STUDENTS CURRENTLY PURSUING CAREERS IN ACTING OR INTERESTED IN DOING SO.

MIDDLE SCHOOL ACTING WORKSHOp

In this fun and challenged workshop for actors of all experience levels, students will learn to apply acting exercises such as sense memory, improvisation and text analysis to exciting scripted material. Through the study of scenes/monologues and exploration of complex characters, participants will learn to achieve rich, natural, and emotionally-connected acting on stage and screen. Family and friends will be invited to a final performance.

*PLEASE NOTE: All deposits are non-refundable, and additional refunds due to cancelation of registration are left to the discretion of the GoodCapp Arts administrative team. If you’ve asked to push use your tuition for a future session, that class credit is good for only ONE YEAR. We do not guarantee class make-ups for canceled sessions due to weather or any “condition/circumstance” out of the control of GoodCapp Arts.
